Partners in Learning travelled to Brantford to visit The Woodland Cultural Centre to learn about the First Nations people’s culture.
“The Woodland Cultural Centre, a museum of excellence, opens the doors to Southern Ontario’s First Nations past, present, and future. Our School and Public programs offer interested visitors the opportunity to discover Native Ontario”.
The museum exhibit is extremely informative and very thought provoking. Lots of conversation about what we had learned continued during an extremely good lunch together at a nearby restaurant.
Thank you to all who were able to participate.
Our next meeting is scheduled for January 14, 2020 at Laidlaw when we invite you to share with us, our speaker who will talk about various aspects of the grieving process.
